i sincerely hope that anyone considering booking through, bookable holidays reads this before they book...

two years ago i had a disastrous experience booking through this company (and i see from the previous posts that i am not alone). without going into the details the holiday was incredibly stresseful and the company was a joke and should not be operating.

this morning, two years on, i decided to give them a second chance and book a holiday that they were advertising on teletext holidays. i eventually got through and spoke to a young clerk, who gave me the details of the holiday. i then tried to book the holiday with credit card in hand, only to be told that he was making another booking and that he would call me back immediately. several hours on and i had still heard nothing so i called back only to discovered that the clerk had finished for the day and that the holiday was now not available. i called an hour later and was basically told that he was not prepared to do anything; he even had the nerve to laugh at how frustrated i was getting with the situation.

there are a million companies our there selling the same holidays, and many at better prices (which we have since found out)... do yourself a favour and do not book with "bookable holidays!"
