We have not even started our Goldtrail Holiday yet (i.e. we are first leaving tomorrow) but we have already had indirect problems with Goldtrail Holidays. We booked a 2 weeks holiday to Rhodes, Greece last week through a travel agent called 'Yourholidays.com', after having spent many hours identifying and selecting an accommodation with good online reviews. Two days before departure (i.e. yesterday) 'Yourholidays.com' send us an email saying that the accommodation we had booked was suddenly not available but we that we could get something else in stead. We asked for our money returned but it was refused referring to their supplier, which is Goldtrail Holidays.
We hope sincerely that the alternative accommodation they have provided us with is going to be alright (time will show) but I would NOT recommend the customer service we have received from Yourholidays and Goldtrail Holidays. I am pretty convinced that they have known all the time that the original hotel was overbooked but waited until the last second to inform us about it making it virutal impossible for us to find an alternative or try to pull out.
Please stay away from Goldtrail Holidays and Yourholidays.com. They are not worthy our your money.
