Have been to Izumi in Maldon quite a few times now and always enjoy the food. The waiters are excellent, very fast at clearing the plates inbetween courses and are all very friendly.

The only "down side" we found on our last visit was that our 11 year old Grandson was classed as an adult - he is just 150cm tall in his trainers - and ate less than our eight year old Grandaughter.

I just find it strange that food consumtion of a child is related to hieght. Although on scrutiny of the menue it does state this in small writing, we felt we should this fact have been confirmed to us on booking as I stated that the booking was for three adults and two children.
