We went to minehead butlins for the first time and was told by the adviser on the phone its the place to be and accomondation is clean and nice. Staff were great and activities were good there is no doubt about that but the accomondation was awful discusting it smelt of smoke and the the carpets were horrible. More to that the sockets were broken with wires hanging out. I immediatly made a complaint and a engineer had come to replace only one socket and said they will be back tomorrow. The sockets with hanging wires were still the same and we had three young children.I furthur made a complaint but noting was done. We dread to go back to the appatment so we had three days and decided to come back on the second day. I would not recomend the accomondation its awful and not what they tell you on the phone is true. I have taken photos and still butlins dont want to take responsibility. I have asked for my money back and they are trying tio give me a 75 pounds voucher. Will never go back been all over the world never experienced accomondation like that.
