80's Rewind what a weekend. Campground was excellent, yes it needed more loos and more showers but is that not part of the fun. This was my first ever and I hope it returns next year. Fantastic location great walk into Henley the first day than a walk along the Thames the second.
99% of the Acts were fantastic my only disappointment was Paul Young. Heaven 17, Nick Kershaw, Howard Jones and ABC absolutely great Ricky Astley had a personality which was a surprise but the one that stood out from the rest was Billy Ocean. They all had live bands which created a superb atmosphere.
The evening entertainment for everybody but especially the campers was great, whoever invented the silent disco what a gem and great fun, the fun fair food and drink very good but expensive.
My only negative comment would be that the website said no naked flames allowed therefore no BBQ and camping cookers, some people took them in but most didn't we are not kids as you can see from all the other reviews we are responsible adults until we have had a drink!! but to provide only one food van with Bacon butties etc for that amount of people was a bad move. The event was a really fun friendly problem free day picnics should also be allowed in.
Fingers crossed this will be back next year but can you let us know soon so we can keep the date free.
