Read some of the other reviews about the wasps at drayton manor park. Luckily (or unluckily!) it rained heavily for quite a few periods during the day. This park must be staffed by some of the most miserable staff in the UK! Their appearance left a lot to be desired, with body piercings and tatoos clearly visible, something that I believe is banned at both Alton and Thorpe. The rides are all on the tatty side, with grafitti much in evidence - nothing much to keep you entertained whilst in the (long) queues, such as music, animatronics etc. Also no indications of wait times (how difficult is it to put up a sign saying xx minutes from here?). Another thing was the lack of anyone going round picking up litter. I'm sure that other theme parks have a dedicated team for this. All in all the place reminded me of a fairground put up for a couple of weeks during the holidays, the only saving grace being that we had a reduced entry cost for staying at the campsite.
