Well 6 of us from the North travelled and camped at the
80's Rewind Festival. We loved it. It is always easy to criticise , toilets and showers. Otherwise the camp sight and venue was very well manned with lots of security and we felt safe to pitch and leave our tents.
The bands, well!! a few let themselves down (needed a little more practice) on the first evening. Otherwise there was some brilliant comebacks. China Crisis the real thing, Toyah and Heaven 17 blew my mind the first day..
On the second it started to warm up as day progressed although I did struggle with Mr Young, but hey!! We danced our socks off. All the line up had something to give , We shot our poison arrow, and we survived.
A little pricey for food n drinks, but if you camp you can get food and drink in the tent , and take it easy in the venue. Overall it was not too pricey and if keeps out the pestering disrespectful people out its worth every penny.
