Virgin Atlantic Airways flight going out, our tv screens did not work so we were given dvd players instead, so were limited in what we could watch. there were no games which i thought you could access, i never found the music channels and the quality was very poor. so, now on to the food, gone are the days of pre dinner drink, wine with the meal, liquer and hot towels, i guess everyone is making cut backs, but its small things that make a difference, now you get one drink offer on a 10 hours flight, poured out in a plastic glass, warm wine, warm beer and they ran out of drinks half way through the flight. meal was average. the flight back, breakfast was an egg muffin or egg bagel (great for those that dont eat eggs!) in a bit of paper. i have flown with virgin in the past and thought they were very good, however they don't seem to have moved with the times and i will think twice before flying long haul with them again.
