“I bought the Polycell Smoothover Your Damaged Walls...”

★★★★☆

I bought the Polycell Smoothover Your Damaged Walls before reading the reviews and had I not already taken it over to Holland to use, I may have taken it back to the shop. However after giving it a go I was very pleasantly surprised. The roller and spreading tool fitted in the 5 litre container and I found both to be usable, roller for large areas and spreader for smaller. The only difficulty I had was where the surface plaster was loose, as the consistency of the smoothover would actually pull out the loose parts, which then left grooves when trying to smoothover again. In the end we were able to repair about 8m2 walls with half a 5 litre tub. the finish was very good, with a little light sanding. Compared to replastering we found it to be good value, although the price for the tools to use the product was high for what they were.
