QVC is one of those companies that you hate to love. Many of their products are very desirable, and they offer items that are harder to buy elsewhere.
But that's the point, they're just harder to find, but not impossible. Do your research and you'll often find an item from QVC on another website at a better price.
My personal experience with them is ok, but I'm not happy with their ridiculous postage and packing prices. £5 for every item, no matter what you order has really got my goat. I won't be buying from them again unless they scrap their outrageous P+P charges.
