Had a great 2 week holiday in crete ruined by our experiance at the airport. Arrived early but was told after a lot of descusion that THEY had the wrong list, we were not on it, we were not getting on that flight.We were told we had to wait and see if some people did not turn up. she was the rudest woman ever, no sympathy, it was all our fault. We had tickets i could not understand why we had no seats. Everyone else was getting processed, although they had no pre-booked seats imfo. But we were told our tickets were not valid, how could that be. After a lot of talk she disappeared, about 20 mins later she came back and put us on. 17D, 20C and my son 13yr 46A. He was distraught, a nervous flier, she just shoved the tickets at us. To make matters worse another couple waiting with us, more quietly kicked off when they saw us getting seats and were also issued seats a little later. But they were seated next to me, which means the staff had the choice of seating us together, but deliberatly seated us far apart. WHAT sort of person treats a frighted child so appalligly. I told her he was a nervous flyer. She did this deliberatly because we fought to get on the flight that we were booked and paid for to get on.My husband was all forced to prove he had paid for a meal on the flight home,eventually got it lukewarm. Thomas cook, Never again.
