I've never been on a United flight before and after the flight I took last month I will NEVER take a flight with United again. I was using crutches and needed a wheelchair in order to get to the gate but was told that I had to check in first and then I could get a wheelchair. Mind you the line to check in was very long. Every other airline I had taken during the week I traveled gave me a wheelchair before checking in. Then my flight left 3 hours late due to mechanical troubles. But they said it would only take 30 minutes. Yeah right. So I arrived late to NYC and missed a class that I was taking. I complained to United but received no compensation or even a note of acknowledgement. Never take United again. Go with American Airlines. They're a lot better.
