United Airlines Review

I traveled on United Flight 953 from Washington Dulles (IAD) to Phoenix,AZ (PHX). The checkin process was friendly, i checked a bag and that was 15 dollars if you pay your fees online, $20 in the airport. United is a hub at Washington Dulles so it is quite busy. I did get through security and checkin early, I got to gate D6 in IAD , there was no UA gate agents there when I arrived, I like to get through early so I wont miss my flight.

The plane left the gate on time and we were off to Phoenix on time. The comfort on the plane was ok the aircraft was an Airbus A320 which i thought was alittle small for a 5 hr flight. I am a big guy i am over 6ft tall and I was alittle uncomfortable in the economy cabin. If you are like me and you booked an economy ticket on United I would get the Economy Plus it has alot more legroom.

The crew was very nice and friendly, drinks were free, United has snack boxes for $6 i dont think that it is worth it but they are not bad. The flight was entertaining, they showed a movie and they had some XM channels. The plane was well maintained and was clean.

Overall had some pleasant flights with United, I paid about $400 for my trip from IAD-PHX and thought it was worth it for the firendly service and crew, but the legroom and comfort was alittle of a problem for me especially in long flights. We arrived in Phoenix about 30 minutes before we were scheduled to arrive. We were supposed to arrive at 6:49 pm and got to gate 3 in Terminal 2 at 6:15 pm. I was pleased to arrive early.

Over all I had some pleasant flights with United, I think that the friendly staff and crew was the best.
