Royal Bank of Scotland is an absolute joke of a bank. Two years ago when everything was rosy I had a bit of trouble paying off some student fees, so I popped along to my local branch to see about getting an overdraft on my current account. I was talked into opening a savings account and a student account with a £1500 overdraft. Also since I'm so great with my finances they offered me a credit card.

Here we are two years later, times aren't so awesome. I start getting threatening letters telling me my overdraft is getting taken away with no notice. They no longer phone me to warn me I'm about to go overdrawn, instead charge extortionate £30 bank charges. Despite the fact that I have literally just graduated from uni they are not open to talking.

I'll be closing the account as soon as my overdraft is paid off.
