I spent a week in Portugal at the end of July and my husband and I both used Piz Buin factor 15 everyday. I have used Piz Buin for years and never had a reaction like this! I was actually ok while on holiday, just a few heat spots but the day after I came back my skin started to feel quite itchy. By the 3rd day my skin was burning and itchy like I have never felt before! I too ended up on antihistamines and steroid creams but the best relief was to keep a tub of aqueous cream in the fridge and use that whenever I needed to. Even my husband had a mild itchy reaction and he has never had an allergy to skin products before. Thankfully mine only lasted about a week but I do feel that they should make the new ingredient clear on the bottle - especially when you read how bad a chemical it is!
