We paid Easy Car Rental for a Ford Focus sized car and actually was given a Fiat Punto with scratches and dents literally all over it. The agent ADA just said "too many scratches to list" on the contract agreement which you sign for when taking the car. On returning the car after 2 weeks in EXACTLY the same condition we were told that we had damaged the car. We disputed this before signing back the car and the guy from ADA told me to cross one of 2 boxes on the return form which was written totally in French. The ADA guy told me the the top box accepts that we have had an accident and the bottom one acceptes that we haden't had an accident. Surprise, surprise they were lying and it appears that I signed the wrong box. ADA are now claiming £290.56 from our deposit. we are absolutely fuming and taking legal action. All I can say is something needs doing to stop thi.
