we have only had this steamer since xmas 2008 it does the job of cooking very well which is what we expected for a tefal product.The let down are the poor quality of the plastic baskets which apart from the number 3 one have cracked and broken the steamer is used nearly every day.I would buy another tefal steamer but only if the plastic baskets are of a better quality.
