My husband & I booked a trip to Phoenix on American Airlines. Two wks after I booked, AA emailed with a flight change. Ok it happens. Then the night before our flight ,AA called and changed it once again. Ok so by the time we arrived in Phoenix, we had lost almost 1 day due to AA. Our trip back from Phoenix was a nightmare. Due to AA's fault we were going to miss our connection in Dallas, therefore they rebooked us on the next flight out the next day. Ok we also accepted that. AA gave us (for 2 people) a dinner voucher for $20 and a breakfast voucher for $10. AA also gave us a hotel voucher (because the delay was their fault). We called the hotel for shuttle pick up. They said 15 mins. Well the shuttle never showed up. After several attempts by phone, I finally reached the hotel and asked "what kind of hotel are they running" and tried to ask where was the shuttle. Well the very arrogant man hung up on me. Ok so we went back inside to the AA counter and asked for a different hotel. The also very arrogant AA agent said "this is a courtesy". It was AA's fault to begin with and I am the customer here. I am a seasoned business traveler and have been through it all (delayed, stranded etc..) and have NEVER been treated this way. I don't plan on ever flying American Airlines again.
