My motorbike was stolen in May, it took four months to get my money back and then they only coughed up with two thirds of the insured value.
I was bounced about for weeks between Bennetts, their underwriters and a third party company that checks your claim - during which time my documents were all lost.
It took two letters of complaint and countless phonecalls before I finally got the derisory amount they paid. They don't 'sell' insurance apparently, they only 'arrange' it so if it all goes wrong once they've got your cash it's conveniently nothing to do with them.
