Personally i believe that the Veet wax strips for the face, work well and are effective, if you use the correct technique. I think the problem with some people is that they don't read the instructions properly. If you don't pull the strip quick enough then it doesn't work, which is a downside because I get a bit nervous when waxing. I wouldn't say it hurts but when you do wax, it's quick and comes as a bit of a shock.
I would recommend this but if you are a bit scared of waxing then get someone else to do it, because if you do it too slowly all the wax just stays on your face and takes ages to get off.
