OK, its not a Roller or BMW but this is a great car. I use my 2001 1.8 Focus Zetec 3dr for the 40 mile B road thrash to work.
I bought this car with 90k it now has 128k and the oil is still clear 10k after a service! Cheap to buy, cheap to service, 40mpg driven properly), cheap parts, easy to fix, uber reliable, no issues with high miles, no rust, interior still looks new, great handling, 4* NCAP crash rating. The steering can feel heavy after driving other cars but this doesn't bother me.
The 3 door looks good but I couldn't give a monkeys - wish I got the estate for increased practicality.

If I was in the market for one now I'd get a sub 100k estate with Full Service History and no family/dog abuse. There are lots out there so look hard for the right car and avoid the unserviced 'my car does 30mpg' dogs. Honest John's website is very good for sussing out snags.
