My experience with Overclockers has been dire. I will never ever use them again.
I ordered a motherboard from them. The first motherboard they sent me was faulty, and they replaced it with a board which arrived damaged (Slightly bent front panel pins) but no damage to packaging. I informed them of this immediately and they told me to send it back which I did. When they received it they then informed me that the processor pins were damaged and they would not replace it. I most certainly did not cause any damage at all to the board.I have now lost my money and postage costs. Two recorded letters of complaint to the MD were not even acknowledged. I now face the hastle of small claims to try to get it back.
I have l looked on internet discussion sites about the reputation of Overclockers and find that there are other outraged customers complaining about the same thing - that is having been accused of damaging processor pins on faulty mother boards that they have returned to Overclockers, and thus not entitled to a replacement. All of these customers are adamant they did not cause such damage. This seems to be a common excuse by them to get out of replacing faulty motherboards.
