Silent hill: Homecoming.
Konami.
Ireland: 40 Euro.

Silent hill homecoming is the sixth installment in the popular silent hill series.
After having recurring nightmares about his brother, Joshua, Alex Shepard decides to return home breifly to make sure everything is A-OK.
But everything isnt OK. Greusome monsters are walking the streets, Alex's mother is in a near-catonic state, and his father and brother are missing. Reazling what he must do, Alex sets out into Shephards Glen, and to Silent Hill, to find his missing father and brother.

Okay, so Silent hill homecoming isnt the same as the previous games, in fact, if you love the silent hill franchise, then you'll find it complelty different, this is due to the Japenese team handing Silent Hill over to the American team.
The graphics I have to say, are actually not as good as Silent hill 4: The Room, which is suprising, since Silent Hill 4 is for the Playstation two. The controls are different, as with the previous Silent Hill's, you controlled normal people, with no idea how to fight, or to survive, in silent hill 5, Alex is an army veteran, obviously been able to handle himself pretty well.
The new combat system allows you to dodge incoming attacks, fight more fiercly, and explore Silent Hill with more confidence than ever before.
This is a good game, with an absolute shocking twist at the end, its not as scary, eerie, or as haunting as the previous installments, but crank the volume high enough, and you'll be scared enough.
I give silent hill homecoming 4 out of five stars.
The story, combat, and surroundings are brillaint.
But, I'm dissapointed that...it just isnt the same as the good old games. Hopefully Konami take back over Silent Hill, and give us the old game we all knew and loved.
