People have told me on numerous occasions that Cole's early work are masterpieces, I always read the later books in the series, you see.
Well, them people were right! After just finishing Dangerous lady recently, I have to say, its a damn good read, and would be worth the money even if it were priced one-hundred euro!
As with a lot of Cole's books, the timeline starts at the very beginning, working its way up to the mind-blowing finale, this is how Dangerous Lady works. I loved reading about Maura rising up through the ranks, from a naive, young little girl, to the queen of organised crime, the actions, twists and turns were keeping me going all night! Yes, I finished it in one night, could you blame me? As usual with a lot of Cole's books, as i say all the time, the only bad point I could really express is that it ends, and its slightly shorter than her other books, being around 560 pages.
Anyways, if you're a Martina Cole fan, and haven't read Dangerous Lady, shame on you, buy this book, oh, and buy some coffee as well, prepare to be doing an all-nighter baby!
