This review is specifically about Heathrow Terminal 5.
It looks lovely, very light, very bright and apparently the shops are great.
Howver, the day we arrived a fairly important item wasn't working - the machines that take your bags to the planes.
So, we had a 3 hour wait whilst no customers were being checked in because the bags couldn't be taken.
Then we finally got on our flight with 1 minute to spare rather stressed and exhausted, only to find out that when we arrived at Geneva only 4 bags for the entire flight had been loaded. So we had a 48 hour wait for our bags to catch up with us, during which time we had to go shopping in Chamonix for the very basics like underwear and toothbrushes.
Not good terminal 5!
