Santa Ponsa is ok, its decent, clean but is a little boring after 7 days and a bit limited. The Irish bit is a big attraction but it seems to tone down at midnight for noise reasons, sitting outside listening to live music one minute.... the glass doors of the pub shut the next and then you couldn`t hear anything ! There are a few more lively bars and a club for the younger element but even they didnt look too kicking.
Potrtofino Appts are ok, they are large and very clean, altho not luxurious but then again we didnt expect that as they were the cheapest.
Cant understand the 5 star ratings in other reviews tho, if this is 5 star why is it the cheapest, ask yourself .....!!
We did really enjoy the holiday but the appartments have been left to get on with it...eg 5 sun parasols around the pool, 4 of them broke and unuseable... 5 star ?????? Bar by the pool permanently closed in August ..... 5 star ????? We had people staying in the room next door shouting to their buddies on the next floor down, swearing, banging doors and ringing the door bells, basically frightening our kids... 5 star ?????
Answer : NO it IS NOT 5 star, BUT we still had a nice relaxing time and enjoyed it overall, despite the permanently closed pool bar and takeaways that run out of grub by 11pm and the noisy main road.... 5 STAR ??????

p.s the restaurant over the road is the best in the resort.... go there !!
