We went with Thomson to a villa in Florida. The flights were uncomfortable - not enough pillows or blankets for everyone, they ran out of water, and of course if you want to watch a film when you want to you have to "upgrade" for an extra £5 each. Just getting the family to sit together cost an extra £70!
Most irritating though was that when we picked up the Villa key we were told that it was Florida law for us to register our stay, and that there was a meeting to do that the next day. I had no intention of wasting one of my holiday mornings. When I refused to attend and questionned hard it turned out that there was actually a form you could fill in straight away instead, and then there was no need to turn up to some "welcome event". The form took all of 2 minutes to complete.
