Bought a John Lewis washing machine last year. It broke down and it has taken me over a month of pleading, shouting and cajoling and still no working washing machine. The Machine is only a year old and already parts are unavailable. Waiting to receive replacement which could take another 7-10 days. I have spoken to about 10 different people each time having to start from scratch with the whole story and everyone bumps me on to someone else. As for "service force" ...don't get me started ! Used to LOVE John Lewis but would not go near them again for anything electrical. Really saddened. My £75 which I paid for a service plan agreement was clearly a laughable waste of money.
