Steer well clear of Halifax. Dreadful, dreadful. Wrote to say we were in the process of closing our account with them, so they cancelled the account immediately, including all our Direct Debits etc. Just awful. There is nothing whatsoever to recommend them. Even their staff were embarrassed at their employer's incompetence.
