What should be an easy process (ordering a dishwasher from Comet's online shop), was a horrendous experience. I ended up making 5 phonecalls (as for some reason they cancelled my online order), gave details at least 6 times (system crash, wrong info input etc etc), No email confirmation was ever received (I was told I'd get this immediately). I called to check that the order was in fact in place and delivery would take place as discussed, to be told that my order had been cancelled, this happened twice. I gave up and hoped for the best and my dishwasher did in fact turn up on the appointed day. On the positive side the delivery team were prompt and helpful and I can only suggest they look for jobs elsewhere as they are not being backed up by decent customer service elsewhere in the business.
However, as the delivery team could not disconnect my old appliance they could not remove it or connect the new one and I have had to get a refund for this. I have now been informed that Comet will send me a cheque (classic delaying tactic) and that it will take up to 28 days to arrive. They cannot make refunds to the card from which it was taken!

Customer service staff are surly and at times rude, ill informed and quite frankly I will not be purchasing from Comet again.
