The Honda VTR1000 Firestorm 998 has more usuable power than the inline 4`s in my opinion.I had a 2000 R1 which was faster than the storm but i never felt as confident as i do when i ride the storm.It still feels really quick but i feel like im taking it for a ride rather than it taking me for ride like i did on the R1.
The only downside of the bike is the 16 litre tank,i know they put a larger one on the later models but it`s still not enough.You really have to be careful riding out of town in rural areas with so many petrol stations closing down,ive got a length syphon tube i carry under the seat just incase i have to borrow some out of my mates bikes.
Thats my only gripe with this bike,the engine just sings away with that lovely deep tone that only a V-Twin can produce.
