I am in my early 30s and divorced - with a lot of great qualities to offer the right guy. I tried Plenty of Fish thinking it was a step up from Craigslist because I didn't have any success on that website. I am looking for a relationship, not a fling. I have contacted over 50 guys on Plenty of Fish and have received responses from maybe a dozen of them. I had dates with three of them, all claiming to be looking for a smart, funny, girl next door type (which is what I am) and none of them have called me back.
It seems that if a woman isn't supermodel beautiful or supermodel thin, then the guys look right passed you for the next woman.
A friend of mine read a review in a magazine article stating that sites like Plenty of Fish and Craigslist are just booty call sites and that if someone is really looking for love, they should try other dating websites. I think I will do that today.
