I been on 'Plenty of Fish' for only a short while. I'm probably very good looking, and have some other unique qualities as well. I'm not rich or anything like that, though. I'm trying with this review to tell the story from my "kinds" perspective, so please don't get annoyed about me telling the truth.

Anyways, I'm early thirties, and my experience with pof is both good and bad. I have written to maybe 15 women, and all except for one has replied. And I've gone on dates with maybe 5 of those, leaving the rest for a rainy day I guess. Now, the problem with this site for me, and anyone like me is that I am NOT looking for a fling. What's the problem then: I don't think that there are that many women on this site who are actually looking for anything really serious, although I also don't think most of them are aware of this fact :-) I think what you get from this site is, as many other reviewers have written, a rare dose of reality. This is the real world, and the real world's a nasty place... For example, all of my illusions about women have been basically blown to pieces.

It is also true that this site tends to develop a sort of "I'm all that" attitude in women. Some of the women I've been in touch with have told me they receive up to 50 emails a day.
So what I'm trying to say is this. If you are a good looking player, this is the place to be. If you are interested in a long term relationship which I happen to do, you may wanna think twice before joining.

    I found this review helpful because...I agree, from a womans prospective, i've dated some players..not good, and also had a lot of lies which is that much fun when your excited about a date and find your date is nothinbg like the person they portrayed..some false pics as well.
