Bought my Mountfield SP470 from B&Q and now 4 yrs old, I realy can't grumble. It starts easily, the height adjustment is relatively easy despite one plastic adjuster snapping off and it cuts the grass. The broken adjuster, together with the broken belt cowling above the blade were both caused by misuse. A common problem with the B&S engine is "hunting", commonly solved by replacing the carbs gasket & diaphragm set (£5.50), though in my case it simply required the jets to be blown through with a compressor.
