I have been with Orange now for 10 years. Over that time I have seen the service they provide get really bad.

Its really good when you phone Orange, as you get a really, nice, friendly, bubbly and helpfull person on the phone. But thats where it ends!!!

They will say what ever they need to to get you off the line a happy customer.

Your only a happy customer unti you realise that what ever you were told is all rubbish. There all talk and no action!!

You also need to be carefull of Orange wordig in there coverage!

They cover 99% of the POPULATION and NOT 99% or the COUNTRY. Orange is useless in all rutral area's.

Orange tech support is useless and to be honest, I wonder if it exsists at all, as customer service say they will get them to ring you, but they never do.


When you uprade your phone with Orange, always double check what your getting with your new contract, as what they say you get and what you actually get are always different and when you phone back customer service, they will tell you any old rubbish to keep you hanging on in there until you are past the get out period.

Beware also of the new 2 year contract!

Orange as like all networks subsidised your phone! But no more and this is where the 2 year contract comes in. You are now paying in full for your phone over a 2 year HP contact!

So if you can afford to buy your own handset, then do it and dictate to Orange what you want from them. As with the 2 year contract and even though its still your phone, they will dictate to you, what payments and terms they want from you!

The only good thing about Orange and this is the only reason I'm still with them, is they Orange Insurance and the replacement of handsets.


Being a business user I need my hand set working all the time or I lose business!


So when my handset has been stolen or has become faulty, Orange have replaced it in 24 hours via a courier to my home. Or in one case of my car being stolen in Manchester and my phone was in the boot. Orange sent a courier with a new phone and sim to my friends house in Manchester in less than 12 hours after I had discovered my car had been stolen.

So Orange as a company 1/10
