Good Points

Cheap. face plate is changeable, 1 touch silent, okay batt life, date n time can be displayed on screen. (compared to, say, nokias, which only display time)

Bad Points

1. fat and heavy you'd think it's sturdy because of its shape? think again. one drop and the battery separates from the body.
2. it feels like it's Lenten season every day because typing on the keys (for dialing, SMS) is like penance. horrible keys. impossible to use. takes forever to complete a message/phone number.
3. there's no 1 touch key lock. you have to either choose to 'automatically' lock it after 15 secs of unuse or not lock it.
4. menu is like a maze.
5. antenna is so long and the reception is not that great
6. display sucks

General Comments

The Ericsson A1018s phone is a waste of money. there are a lot of other inexpensive but worthwhile mobiles out there. read the good and bad points for reasons.
can use the darn antenna to poke muggers
doesn't even have a CALCULATOR

I totally agree with Gem as my friend has one and she can't flog it! Nobody wants it! She's selling it for £15 on the One2One network, and she thinks is was such a waste of money! So do i! It feels like a brick in your pocket! If you read this, Gem, please leave a review on this page (you know what i mean!) Emm. oh yes i was saying, please leave a review on what i think of this brick! The ring tones are AWFUL!! the phone is nearly 5 cm's thick! Yuck! My friend has been trying to sell it for months! She got it For £30 on pay as you go (surprise surprise!) and she hates it! Please comment on my comment! Thanx!

what more can i say? you said it. ask your friend not to sell her phone though, mine's still on a shelf at home. one day it's gonna be a worth a lot on ebay- you know how people suddenly miss ugly obsolete relics when 50 years earlier they were ready to throw their own ugly relic out the window...
