I have never been treated as badly by a company that I have paid money to. I asked them to insure my kit car, when it was being built, as they advertise that they will cover all stages of the build. After driving it (insured) to the SVA test, it unfortunately failed. Adrian Flux then wrote to me, demanding the registration number of the car, and saying they would cancel the policy without one. They were not swayed by the argument that the DVLA wouldn't give me the registration number till it had passed its SVA test, and proceeded to cancel the policy, and then pointed out that the 12-month premium was non-refundable, declaring that I had voluntarily cancelled the policy by failing to give them the registration number.

I was only able to resolve the issue by going direct to the under-writer, who appeared to have slightly more common sense, and eventually agreed a refund! I would not recommend Adrian Flux to anyone.
