The spitfire is superb value for money and is incredibly accurate in field shooting as well as hunting. It loads with ease and is a dream to shoot. I strongly suggest you give it a try.

Another bad point: when seals need replacing, if you intend to do it yourself, be very careful. There are some small parts to be easily lost! also, the frontmost seal (the one at the end of the rod) is very difficult to get to as the brass collar insert is very tight (even when the 2 grubscrews are removed). All other seals are easily obtainable & replaceable. other than that, no problems - the rifle is a very good & very affordable piece of equipment.
