Went with my 7 year old daughter to Haven Holiday Park at Ayr for a 3 day break, what a disgrace were do i start accommodation which cost 90 pounds a night was an absoulte disgrage windows were taped up with masking tape place was a bag of dust if you or siblings had asthma you were in trouble ,portable tv in living space (can't call it a room) with 5 channels not even freeview in this day an age.Next nothing free except the pool which closes at 6pm and was freezing, when i was young i went here every year with my family and it was fantastic tons to do snooker table tennis, canoes, rollerskating and much more and was all free, my return to this place after 20 years was a great let down shattered my child hood memories but thats was Butlins and now its Hovel oops ment to say Haven. We only stayed 2 nights out of the 3 could not suffer it any more, to round it off in my haste to leave this dump i forgot my daughters suitcase i called next day to see if it had ben handed into lost property thats right you guesed it wasn;t dishonest cleaning staff.my review for Haven is an honest one and i sum it up with a 3 P recommendation PINTS PUGGIES and PEASANTS.

Centre Parcs say that is was due to refurbishment, I beleive it was due to labour costs at this quiet time of the year. Albeit still great choice in the eating department.

Hi.
You said, in your 3 P statement, that it was for Peasants?! I have been to Haven with my family 6 times now, and I can assure you I am NOT a peasant! I thinks it's rather rude to sterotype people don't you? Especially when you don't even know them.
As for the so-called 'dis-honest cleaning staff' do you not think it's more that their jobs worth to steal a childs suitcase? Perhaps if you had been a bit more careful you would not have lost it in the first place!?
Just a thought, let me know!
