i got a remington wet 2 straight for about 30 dollars and i love it :) it works great on my long, thick, wavy-ish hair. ive tried it a few times with my wet hair but quit tht after i learned that you shouldnt straighten wet hair at all (but it still works great with dry.) when it used to take me 30 mins to do my hair in the morning this iron cut it down to 15 mins max. ive had this for about a year and its very durable (ive dropped it quite a few times and i travel frequently and currently no problems)

it has a rlly fast heat up time and maintains ur desired temp, auto shut off after about an hour, adjustable temp.

ive never really needed to hold down the plates to straighten but some ppl do and just fyi it gets pretty hot up there so beware. leaves my hair smooth and sleek and i recommend it
