The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas book was great I read it two times in a row it was so excellent>
The book was about this kid who has a soldier as a father and he lived in Germany and he had to move because his father had to move.
When they move Bruno (the boy) meets a little boy named Shmuel his mum did not want him to know that it was a camp for the Jews so he thought it was a farm where people work so his mum left it at that but Bruno soon meets this little boy named Shmuel and figures out that will it is not a farm where people work will they do work but is not a farm.
Bruno brought his friend food almost everyday and then Shmuel tells him that well he is a Jew and so Bruno very quickly let the fence and went home and the they "played" together almost everyday but then Shmuel's family member can not be found so then Bruno loves to explore so the day Bruno was supposed to move he went to go find Shmuel's papa and then it started to rain and they went into this really dark room and his mum cant find him and they are still in this room thinking that they are there to be protected by the rain but they were put in the gas chamber the Bruno held Shmuel's hand and said you are my best friend forever. They then put the gas in the room with them in it and they died Bruno nor Shmuel came out it was very sad.
