Totally unorganised. Cannot book in advance. Turn up to get a table- no one to greet customers. So you try to find your own table (with number on it). Try to get a drink at the bar and then told to join a queue...with others who are ordering food and paying their bills - then watch people stand at the bar and get served. Outrageous lack of customer care and management skills...no passion...just a job for the staff. Saw Managers constantly serving food to tables rather than manage.
Food is average uk pub grub.....good variety but slapped on your plate as a result of volume and not passion!
We've tried sister pub at Horning in Norfolk and the difference in customer care is measureable! !
Not worth tipping staff because you have to do everything yourself! I suppose the staff have to bring your food out anyway but this was the only servicewe received.
Cannot understand why it was popular....but listening to others' comments, they were less than impressed!
Still struggle to see why it took 90 minutes for our main course to be served (no starters). We even had to question why our food had not been served!!!
Go there for the experience......
