us as a family hadnt been on holiday for 4 years,so we booked a week at butlins minehead,we booked a caravan instead of the chalets,it turned out to be a wise choice our caravan was beutiful and a real home from home,you dont have to book a chalet at butlins and i would recomend a caravan,as the chalets look a little rough to say the least,we got settled in straight away and its been a fantastic week,minehead is a beutiful place with the butlins resort being right opposite the sea,we used to walk upto minehead every night for a meal or fish n chips by the sea front,,i recomend the hairy dog pub in minehead town for a great meal at a good price,butlins itself is a fantastic family holiday and the kids were never bored with a free fun fair and bob the builder world,plus loads of activitys for the kids,my lads loved the laser quest and the driving school,all in all if you are lookin for a fun family holiday then i would defo recomend butlins minehead,my kids were so sad to leave the place,we already goin back next year,,hope this review helps you in some way,,
