Bought my HW77.22 cal back in 1985 with my first proper wage packet and was the envy of my mates who had standard guns at the time. The one thing against it was the fact it was hard to insert a sabot round due to the slidind mech but once you managed it there was no better round for accuracy and penetration. As said before the weight was high but the balance more than made up for it and when I moved from the UK, I sold it but always thought there was no better made rifle then and is still a top 5 rifle to buy now.
