Was appauled by the Haven Holidays bad reviews and felt i had to tell you about our holiday to perran sands last june 08. We were amazed by the location of the caravan as it was on the cliffs overlooking the beach, the view was astounding, the caravan had a wooden veranda with a table and chairs , so we could watch the lifeguards playing with seals in the mornings. the caravan was clean and had everything we needed. the beach is fantastic, you can walk down steep steps or walk over the cliffs where there is a small pathway.the beach has everything including a pub, with outside seating and great food,a sea water swimming pool built into the rocks,rockpools, lifeguards chair, windbreak hire , surfing shop and lessons and the shops are only a short walk away. the only downside is that it would be awkward if you have a buggy to acsess the beach from the site. but you can drive down to perranporth and park next to the beach. we didnt pay much for our holiday as it was a sun deal, we have paid much more in the past and got much less. we were also surprised at how cheap everything was especially off the camp.
