Hi, I am a new owner of a 2009 Burgy 400. I read some comments and the amazing mileages obtained. But I see so much confusion ,so, take note(s)... This will be as close (rounded off) to precise as you can use. One US Gallon = 3.78 litres One Imperial Gallon = 4.54 litres Therefore 6 US Gallons equals 5 Imperial gallons. Presume you do 60M/G on a USgallon, you would be getting
1/6 more miles on 1 Imperial (UK;CAN)gallon or...70 M/G because you had more gas!that's all! In short,to change from IMP to US go M/G x 5/6 and from US to IMP go M/G x 6/5. Now Miles versus KM's! 1 Mile is 1.6 KM while 1 KM =.625 Mile. 60 M/G US=60x1.6 =96KM/G. 96:3.78=25.4KM/L. Now Imp gallon. 70x1.6=112KM. 112:4.54=24.7 KM/L. Close enough ? don't be too picky eh!
By the way, on my first trip I got 24.9 KM/L
