Thomson Airways are among the best when it comes to charter flights.
We left on time landed on time.
We had extra leg room seats for only £50 each return and on a 5 and half hour flight they were great.
Food was lovely outbound we had a salad starter, chicken in tom and basil sauce with mash followed by cheesecake.
return was pasta salad,sausage and mash and sticky toffee pudding.
Seats were comfy and the crew were talkative and freindly, bear in mind that these guys work a very long day on this flight, must be about 14 hour day! try smiling for that long!
many compannies could learn from Thomson.

  flew with Thomson from East Midlands to Orlando Sanford on 21st july'09 apart from a one hour delay due to a passenger passport problem which was not the fault of Thomson it was a first class flight, much better than virgin, we booked premium class & well worth the extra, fast check in, fast track through passport control & preferential boarding, pre-flight drinks & after take off drinks were served not from a trolley but on a tray to suit your choice of drink, in flight food was excellent with a choice of three main courses & all available & not like virgin last year when the food choice ran out, a good wine was served with the meal followed by a choice of after dinner drinks, the cabin crew were some of the best I have had the pleasure to fly with for long time now having done this flight every year for many years, in flight entertainment was first class & the cabin crew never stopped working for the whole flight & after landing we had preferential disembarkation which meant we cleared immigration in the USA well ahead of the main cabin passengers.
  
  Now for the flight back, due to approaching storms towards the airport we left early with no problems & again superb service from the crew until the drinks were served & the food was served & now it's night time with the lights dimmed, seats reclined & try to sleep but no way! as we were in row two very close to the forward galley the crew must have thought it was their time to enjoy the flight, they never stopped talking, laughing joking & slamming the metal doors in the galley so non one in the premium class front seats could get any sleep, also the breakfast was the worst food you could imagine totally inedible but then again at six in the morning who really wants to eat an egg something or other, also after landing premier class passengers we not given preferential disembarkation which is what we are paying for.
  from years of experience why is it that the inbound flight is never as good as the outbound flight & why are the cabin crew never as professional as the outbound crew this appears to be case with all the different airlines I have used over the years.
  however would i use Thompson airlines again yes without any doubt & am looking to book again premium class for next year but i intend to reserve seats further back in the premium cabin so that on the return night flight i can't hear the cabin crew banging about.
  for anyone thinking about using thompson's to florida all i can recommend is you pay the little extra & fly premium class as it's better than virgin who charge you a minimum of £500 extra & apart from the seating you get very little more for your money.
  well done Thompsons & please keep it up so as not to lose your passengers.
