Customer Service is absolutely awful at Natwest.

I opened an Account online in order to qualify for the free USB pen that you would receive for opening online. I got the documents fairly quickly and went to the branch to confirm my identity.

My passport was fine, then she wanted proof of address, in which I produced my UCAS conditional offers letter. She said this was unacceptable even though the letter was dated two weeks ago! I then went home to retrieve a utility bill instead - only to go back to Natwest and get told that the conditional offer letter was not enough to prove that I would be a full time Student!

I don't know if staff could be anymore incompentent. They seemed to have little or no idea what UCAS was and stated that I should bring a Student identification card instead to confirm my Student Status.

They seemed either very stupid or very unwilling to open a Student account for me. Natwest fuss about every single document handed to them no matter how official it may seem.

Now I have to wait until I go to university UNTIL i can open my dam student account. This is an annoyance because most of us would have wanted a Student Account for a loan and bursaries to be used the moment we start.
