We had a Hammonds home office installation. The layout was straightforward and the design was checked by a surveyoor. The first designer was not competent and he did not appear at a meeting to discuss the design at one of Hammonds stores. A new designer was appointed and he produced a design which met all our requirements. Following the installation I noticed about 10 faults most relating to very poor installation but two concerned the quality of the product. Against our wishes the fitter returned to rectify the problems but left leaving several outstanding which he was not able to correct. Another more senior member of Hammonds arrived and the the problems were resolved. What was a scheduled 1.5 days installation took eventually over 2.5 days.
