- Multi-playerYes
Story: Killzone 2 s set in the future on another planet. The story is very basic as all you do is slowly get closer to the leader of the Helgast's(enemy) leader. The story is very basic and you easily lose interest. The bosses are very fun to fight and will manage to keep you playing.
Pros:
-Great graphics and sound effects. Lots of detail.
-Fun multiplayer where you can fight with 32 people online. You can chat to your squad mates, and join your friends game. Maps are well designed. The ranking system makes the game more addictive. As you progress, levelling up becomes harder, and better weapons are earned. This is done by earning XP by helping your faction, for example shooting enemies. Diverse range of maps online, and suit different weapons. You can also create your own game and customise what you want, from maps, to weapons.
-Lots of weapons, from normal assault rifles, to snipers and rocket launchers.
-Plenty of action, singleplayer and online, where an enemy is around every corner.
-Nice cover system, where you can cover behind an object, and peak out and blast.
-There are trophys to earn.
-You can modify the controls to what you want.
Cons:
-Singleplayer story is dull and very short.
-Online ranking system stops too early, as you can reach top rank fairly quickly.
-Gameplay not to everyones taste.
Overall:
If you are a fan of first person shooters, you should definitely try this. Its worth buying but it might not be to everyones taste;but if you have internet on your PS3, there is a demo which you can try to see if you like the way the game handles and looks.
Great game 9/10
